Daniel Powter (丹尼爾·帕德) 為加拿大唱作歌手 ,
出生音樂世家 , 母親是一位鋼琴家 , 擁有絕對音感 ,
四歲學小提琴十三歲學鋼琴 ,
但是也並非一路順遂 ,
從小因為閱讀障礙的影響 , 引來旁人異樣的眼光 ,
也因此大學無法畢業而輟學 ,
輟學後的他開始在各樂隊演出累積經驗
2002年創作了紅透半邊天的《 Bad Day》,
但是因為害羞內向而怯場 , 無法在舞台上展現實力
2005年才歷經萬難發行個人首張同名專輯《 Daniel Powter 》, 其中的《 Bad Day》

- 全美四大單曲榜冠軍 ,
- 可口可樂歐洲廣告的主題曲 ,
