2008年樂團由主唱Dan Reynolds於美國內華達拉斯維加斯成立
中間因為團員變動 , 2011年才正式出道

2012年年初發行單曲《 It's Time 》 開始受人注目

樂團成立才1年就打出知名度 , bigger就是指樂團迅速爆紅 ,
主唱Dan Reynolds也承諾 , 並不會因為走紅 , 而改變做音樂的熱忱.

house意指富貴名利 , 一切都是自己一磚一瓦所建起 ;
" 富貴名利 " 一但著火 , 很快就會燃燒殆盡 , 化為灰燼.
