2008年樂團由主唱Dan Reynolds於美國內華達拉斯維加斯成立
中間因為團員變動 , 2011年才正式出道

2012年年初發行單曲《 It's Time 》 開始受人注目

2012年9月發行首張專輯《 Night Visions 》 轟動全球

- 樂團與因患癌症病逝的Tyler Robinson的家屬共同建立「 Tyler Robinson基金會 」 , 幫助年輕的癌症患者
- 同年5月樂團製作《 Demons 》的Music Video獻給Tyler Robinson

這邊的fold 不是" 摺 "牌的意思 , 而是德州撲克的一種術語 ,
捨棄並覆蓋手中的牌 , 放棄所有籌碼並退出該局 ,
人生喻為牌局 , 已經無牌可出 , 人生走投無路 .
*saints :
指經過教會認證過的聖徒 , 這裡意指社交名流 ,
外表看起來光鮮亮麗 , 其實都是用金錢換來的

" kingdom come " 出自聖經馬太福音第六章第10節 ,
" Thy(Your) Kingdom come,Thy(Your) will be done,On earth as it is in Heaven"
意指世界末日來臨
*masquerade :
做名詞有兩種解釋 , 一種是化裝舞會 ; 另一種是偽裝欺騙 ,
這李是偽裝欺騙的意思 , 意指周遭的損友們 ,
身處逆境 , 才知曉朋友的真偽
